Summary Review of Enagic Kangen Water

Enagic is a company that has focused on providing alkaline ionizers and water filtration machines to help people with healthier drinking water.

The company is by no means a scam.

With A+ in BBB rating as well as a top manufacturer of water filtration machines and alkaline ionizers in the world, Enagic seems to be towing the right path.

However, this company employs a compensation model that sends red flags in addition to it's running an MLM model.

Join me as we find out more about Enagic!!!

What is Enagic Kangen Water?

Enagic is a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) company whose product line consists of water filtration machines. The company is based in Okinawa, Japan and was founded in 1974 by Hironari Oshiro.

However, the company came into the international space in January 2003 when it established Enagic USA in 2003 as well as adopted the MLM business model.

The company which started as a subsidiary of Sony in Japan now has offices all over North America.

On its home page, Enagic boldly states that “the basis of vitality and long life is water.”

The company also claims that it wants to help its users achieve the right mental, physical, and financial health through healthy water.

They have a global vision of providing homes with more alkaline and hydrogen-enriched water and less electrolyte drinking water.

Enagic claims that its filtration systems can raise the body’s PH levels from 8.5 to 9.5.

The initial model of the Kangen Water machine was launched in Leveluk DK on January 2000, in recent time the product line now makes up of eight different Kangen Water machines.

The Cost to Become an Enagic Distributor?

It is free to join Enagic as a distributor, and there are no upsells. Also, you do not have to purchase any products before you can be a distributor.

To help detoxify the body of acidity, Enagic has its line of water filtration products. The company currently has eight different models that produce different types of alkaline Kangen water.

This may not last long as you’d eventually need to buy the product that you are trying to sell to people.

However, here is a list of Enagic water filtration systems with their prices:

  • Leveluk Super 501- $5,980
  • Leveluk SD501U- $4,980
  • The K8 – $4,980
  • Leveluk SD501 Platinum 5-language – $4,280

Who Is Enagic For?

Enagic’s business opportunity may be great for you if you need enriched alkaline water in your home.

Also, it is best for people who are good at communicating with people, recruiting people as well as networking.

This is because you will be doing a lot of recruiting and sales to make it an Enagic distributor.

How to Make Money with Enagic

Enagic as a company utilizes direct selling; you have to purchase and sell the filtration systems to people. You make around $285 for every two systems you sell you also get an increase in profit for recruiting eight more persons into your team.

However, Enagic utilizes a compensation plan that enables you to earn more when you reach their Leadership position.

This means that to make money in Enagic; you have to:

  • Recruit more persons into your team. And get more downlines from your other down lines.
  • Sell Enagic Kagen filtration systems and earn commissions.

However, you’d have to sell at least 100 filtration devices at the price of $ 1280 at a minimum for the cheapest device before you can make headway.

To be a successful distributor of Kangen Water Machines you need a constant flow of leads who will be interested in the products.

Now if you are not an experienced marketer, you are stuck with where to get these leads from.

So what most distributors do is to make a list of people who would be interested in the product, and this list may likely be filled with family and friends.

After making a list, you book an appointment and try to sell either your product or the idea of becoming an ENAGIC distributor to those on your list.

After which you ask for a referral. Also, to be successful as a distributor, you need a strong upline who knows precisely what he is doing, if not, you may be doomed for failure.

This is how to earn with Kangen Water Machine

Affiliates would earn high commissions if they progressed to higher levels and this can be done by selling Kangen Water machines and recruiting more people into your downline.

What is Good About Enagic

Unlike most MLM companies, Enagic is free to join; however, you may need to purchase at last one machine of which the minimum cost for one is $1,280.

Also, asides being free to join, Enagic doesn’t have any monthly or annual renewal or upsells, you also do not even need to stock up goods in advance for sell.

  • Generous Compensation Model

Enagic operates a unilevel compensation system that makes it easy to earn bonuses.

Also, they have quite an impressive annual sales revenue numbers which may likely continue to climb.

  • The Company is Highly Certified

Enagic has International certification with bodies such as the Water Quality Association Gold Seal and is also a Member in good standing of the prestigious Direct Selling Association (DSA)

  • More than 40 Years in Existence

Enagic has been in business for over 40 years since it was founded in 1974.

The company seems to be a reliable company to have weathered the storm for all these years despite being an MLM business.

Issues with Enagic?

  • Too Expensive

The least of Enagic’s Kangen machines cost $1280 which is a bit on the high side.

Other water filtration/ionization companies provide the same services as Enagic’s at half the price. So why go for Enagic when I can get something else.

  • Sales may be Difficult

Enagic is a direct sales company; this means you may have to convince people and move from house to house to sell the machines, and if you are not a good salesperson, this may prove difficult.

  • Marketing Scam

Enagic is an MLM business, and the FDA does not regulate its distributors. Therefore most of their sales tactics involve aggressive marketing/sales.

Equally, Enagic cannot also be held liable for any bogus claims its marketers make in the process of selling the Kangen Water Machine.

Other such online programs like Enagic includes:

Is Enagic a Scam?

Enagic has all the fittings of a legitimate company. Its products are solving a good problem, reducing acidity in the human body by providing alkaline water.

However, it's business opportunity sends the red flags.

To be successful as an Enagic distributor takes a while and marketing skills as well as tools.

So while Enagic’s Kangen Water Machines are great devices for households to own, the business opportunity is not such a great idea.

Is Enagic Worth Your Time It?

Enagic is a high-end product, and if you decide that the business opportunity is for you, you’d need to ask yourself some questions, such as:

  • Am I good at marketing?
  • Do you feel comfortable talking to strangers about this product?
  • Can I be able to go from door to door advertising this product?
  • Will my leads come from people I know or my family and friends and am I willing to sacrifice our relationship?

If the answers to the question above are yes, then the Enagic MLM program is for you.

However, I will not recommend Enagic. Personally, MLMs are not my thing. Most often people are willing to jump on the bandwagon of MLMs without fully understanding the implication.

However, I will like to recommend a product from which I have been able to achieve financial security and stability.

  1. This sounds like a legitimate product with a fairly clean business model. But the health claims seem a bit bombastic. Per my limited understanding, the pH levels in our *blood* are fairly static, and can’t be influenced significantly by what we eat or drink. Now I don’t know if that’s true for the pH levels in other systems (GI tract, for instance), but I’m a bit dubious about how much healthier this water really is- especially if I can buy an equitable product for far less money!

  2. A good product may still be a tough sell. One would have to be constantly searching for prospects, since I assume a filtration system lasts a while–no repeat business like there would be with makeup or health foods, for example.

  3. I’ve read about enagic kangen water purifier, however I was not convinced about the productivity of this filter. The enagic kangen water filter is sadly another MLM scheme. As typical of MLM, goods are sold at a high price, which discourages people from joining the program. I’ll pass on this offer, definitely not for me.

  4. Thanks for this review , before now I didn’t know about Enagric Kangen Water but after this adequate and complete review you just made.

I think I know more than enough now. Thanks to this honest review.

I will like to purchase and also be a distributor but I don’t know if they allow distribution in some part of Africa ,or better still do you have an idea of where they are operational in and where they haven’t decided to work in.

Thanks for your reply in advance

  5. This company has been in business for over 40 years,  it is well established,so it,s products must be selling.

The machines are expensive,so you need to be experienced in direct marketing, if you want to succeed.

The opposition machines are less expensive,so it may be difficult selling your product.

As far compensation goes, the structure is complicated, not only do you have to sell the products, but you also have to recruit new people at the same time,to get to a better commission level.

A good side to the company, is that it is free to join, which is unusual for an MLM company.
